The year 2024 was a most successful year for our ministry. 

I was invited to speak at the Kane County Sex Trafficking Summit in St. Charles, Illinois. This was co-hosted by the States Attorney General and One Collective. The One Collective team in Elgin, Illinois has been moving forward in their efforts to promote awareness of human trafficking and this gathering went a long way towards that goal. The event was so successful that it is being held again this year and I have been invited back. 

Throughout the year, I was invited to speak to many different organizations and groups promoting awareness of human exploitation. These presentations are emotional and rewarding and I hope to continue to be useful in this way.

Out of Darkness was reinvented in 2024. It is now The Freedom Collective and is dedicated to impacting the fight to eliminate Human Exploitation in all of its insidious forms. 

My service with both the Atlanta and Middle Georgia rescue and ambassador teams continues to be a focus of my efforts. 

In May of 2024, Val was able to participate in a mission trip with a group of faithful friends from First Methodist Church in Dublin. They served the Roma people in rural Romania.  

God continues to bless our ministry, now in our 12th year, as we continue to be willing and available servants.
